For my photography class final, we were told to make St. Olaf look not like St. Olaf. I was heavily inspired by Jordan Peele’s “Nope” and I wanted to make my own western movie with Latinx bodies in it. I watched cowboy movies to help me prepare. I asked my friends, Kira and Cris to be the stars of my “movie” and I wouldn’t have done it with anyone else. This was also my first time shooting in medium format and I’m more than happy with the result.
